Instagram favorites

Hello~
Okay, I don't even know why I'm skulking my way back here because I've nothing worthwhile to say really...
I just have a collection of "interesting" and crudely titled junk for you guys I suppose.

Firstly, some shopping wants -
These gorgeous lavender creepers are super cheap (for that price you could get two pairs, balls to it) - not entirely bad quality either since my friend recently bought a black pair. I'm just lurking to see if they get my size back in stock, then I'm going to be all over them like a flannel.

T.U.K sweet life high top creeper sneaks - I've only seen rare pairs of these dotted around, because they weren't a shop run, only a sample, and they're always in smaller sizes. If you spot them in your size, lucky you because they're goddamn beautiful.

My friend keeps saying how much she wants things from O-S accessories, and I can totally see why - I'm in love with a fair few of their pieces (although for me, some of the pieces look too raw, plasticy and unfinished), but there isn't a soul I know who has $160 to spend on the remnants of a dead organism. I did however route around and find some etsies with similar things. Sadly there weren't a lot of things that were all that alike, but I did find these awesome jaw earrings at blackapollonia's etsy. They also come in plain and pink.

Next, I've been quite enjoying Instagram lately (I suspect an audible tut right about here, but if you're someone who enjoys it like me, I'm TOPeeApple), and these are some people who's images I quite enjoy:

- carlostulk
pretty much a homage to badass art (his cat drawings are phenomenally intricate) and a rather perfect little Bengal cat called Shawty.

- grav3yardgirl
You've probably at least brushed links with her youtube videos - if not, you should! She's great fun to watch as a vlogger, and her instagram is full of all things vintage, Jeffrey Cambell, anatomical and awesome.

-szmoon
A self made fashion crafter who has a really cute pastel sense of style, I really like her WIP shots that she takes while creating some of the clothes she sells, and other DIY shinanigans.

-pinksugarichigo
A varied and colorful instagram full of cute little oddities from a life in Japan.

-endlessdrawings
The art style is so adorably quirky, just love it! You can tell it's cute from the names (`day ghost with noodle legs`, `peapods on an open window` etc)

I totally love instagram, but I do have to say that it totally grates my cheese how so many people on there tag their photos with entirely unrelated tags just to gain likes - `fashion` doesn't really apply to a photo of someone's face with no clothes/makeup/hair in sight, or a photo of their pet...

Almost lastly - if you're someone who often ponders the intellect of the human race and wonder why you are the way you are, here is an interesting website for you to dabble around in when you're pretending to study or whatever it is you like to do.

On a random note, I'm changing my hair. I'm risking destroying my entire head of hair and bleaching the lot, from which I will go half blue and baby pink. After that washes out, I've also bought silver dye. From there I may dye half back to black, or all of it. Only time will tell.

Orlando >> Home

Oh my gosh, bad pun to start out - but yes I have landed back from Florida now. I hate that weird alien feeling you get standing in your own room after not seeing it for two weeks >.>
I'm just gonna throw this right into the haul of stuff I got (this isn't going to be that interesting for people interested in clothes but there's a lot of jewelry/jewelry making things and other crafty bits...what is wrong with me, I go away and buy stationary).
Hello kitty ring : Sanrio store
Octopus necklaces: Bargain supermarket (Obv these come in a pair, and normally I hate tacky `best friends` stuff,  BUT OCTOPUS.
Crocodile ring: Kmart
Turtle ring: Seaworld (This is a stretch ring but I broke one of the strands running through the band trying to loosen the elastic ¬_¬ )
Gummy spike bands: Kmart

I believe all these stickers ( My little pony, hello kitty, moustachesa and letters) are from Walmart and Kmart...I'm not sure. After so much mart, I don't know anything anymore. I also got some `Kawaii` style food stickers with eyeballzzz and animal alphabet ones... For the cool kid in me.

Hello kitty journal: Kmart. It looks a bit battered from a tough ride home :C Whoops cheeky hair. Too much sun and chlorine means I'm molting like a badly made carpet.

Gems, selection of chains, neon string shiz, frog fabric, wings, crosses all from various walmarts.
Hello kitty notepad from Sanrio shop.

Earrings all from Kmart... Except the shamu ones.. They're obviously from seaworld and Idec that they're tacky because WHALES (it's becoming apparently I have a penchant for sea life/reptile scheme jewelry).

Dinosaur. Nothing else need be said. He shall just sit on my shelf being all dinosaur-ish. From Publix.

Hello kitty crop top from Macy's or something... And a lovely alligator claw. They have these in most gift shops and it's so weird because you can see where the bones were cut.Either that or they're awesome fakes but they're all different so I don't think so.
ICE is a Walmart brand, and the purple is from Kmart. The Bon Bon is from a children's makeup selection in Walmart, but it's okay because you never stop loving glitter >:D If I make any nice nail designs I'll probably post them. Sadly the purple leaked on the way home...

AND RUINED MY HAIRBAND FUUUUUU. Looks like I'll be making another one.

Hello Kitty dress from the Sanrio store - as you can tell I'm feeling lazy with photo editing today.
Below is the back detail. I've absolutely no idea with what to wear this so that could be interesting. O_o

Anywhoo that's it for the haul. I did get some other things that I missed out, and a bunch of foodstuff (of course) but I'm being a little lazy right now. Like I said, not much interesting but I hope you like.
Bye~

PS~ If you haven't been to the Sanrio store (I'm not sure if it's a popular store there in the states or not?!) then it's at the Millenia mall on the first floor. I don't know the exact address but I'm sure Google will be yielding.

Music bites

Yep I'm back already because it's late here and I'm killing time before I can have my Pyjamas back out of the tumble dryer and go to bed - my mum washed them even though they were clean... Whatever, anyway, in less than a week I'll be back home and I'll write about some stuff I bought here and some stuff I've been up to (I'm aware that writing about things I bought will be pretty boring for people who live in the states but for people travelling here it could be useful... ).
But yet again the point of this post is music.
Some time ago someone asked me what kind of music I listen to, and then every time I've been asked this I've been reluctant to answer. Because, much like people judge you based on your appearance, if you tell them one song/genre of music you like, you are judged by it. If your favourite genre is pop but you say you like, oh I don't know... Meshuggah, then you're judged as a metalhead etc. Therefore the point of this is to showcase a big collection of various songs, genres and styles that I like.

Commence music heavy post:

Kerli Koiv - Most people who know Kerli know her from when she released her song `Tea party` in relation to Alice in Wonderland. But, in my personal opinion, that's one of her worst songs. Her older stuff is a lot more..Her.

Kill Hannah - These guys are/were a small band from Chicago - I'm unsure as to whether they're still together or not but they did bring out a newer album around a year or two ago. This isn't necessarily one of my favourite songs of theirs, but it's one of the only ones with an MV because they only came to attention by Kerrang! about...three years ago?!
They were one of my first gigs, and they came out to the floor to meet the fans, sign stuff and take photos, so they were interactive too!

Lyn - I have no idea if this is Lyn's only song or not but I just love it. Her voice is lovely and I really like the way Haegeum's voice sounds in the middle too. It's kinda weird, she looks like she could be Kim Hyungjoon's mom or something O_o

Bell Nuntita - Thai pop is that underrated that it's next to impossible to find Thai to English translations for most songs, especially if you want romanization type lyrics as well. Bell is actually one of my favourites: I saw her while trawling the internet while browsing Korea's got talent videos, which led me to Thailand's got talent where Bell appeared as a transgender singing both female voice and male baritone. Check out her audition, it's pretty interesting. She's so gorgeous too!

Candy Mafia - Candy mafia is one of those groups you just like to listen to when you're in a silly mood and want something fun.

Clazzi - A member of Clazziquai project. CP make such awesome chilled out music, perfect for doing homework to.

Culcha Candela - A somewhat tacky number that my friend and I used to enjoy when we were actually supposed to be learning German, not singing it...

Marilyn Manson - Just in case all you Manson fans forgot about the lovable guy then this is one of his most recent songs from his album `Born Villain` - if you enjoy testing your comfort zone, watch his "teaser" for the album.
Maskinen - An interwebz frond of mine showed me Maskinen, and I can't stop listening to it! `Alla som inte dansar` is another good tune.
